Sean Russell Walker, a devoted husband of 29 years, father, father-in-law, grandfather, son, friend, brother, proud veteran of the United States Army, and respected realtor, entered into eternal rest on June 3, 2026.

Sean’s faith was not only something he professed, but something he lived. For ten years, he faithfully served as a CCD teacher at Christ the King Catholic Church, sharing his love of Christ and helping guide young people in their faith formation. He found great fulfillment in serving his parish community and was deeply committed to passing on the values and teachings of the Catholic faith.

Sean proudly served in the United States Army for more than 20 years, retiring with the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7). He considered it an honor to serve his country and carried the values of duty, integrity, leadership, and selfless service throughout his life. The discipline and commitment he demonstrated during his military career were reflected in the way he cared for his family, served his community, and conducted his professional life.

Sean was a successful and respected realtor whose integrity and work ethic earned the trust of many throughout his career. He proudly served his country as a United States veteran and carried that same sense of duty and commitment into every aspect of his life.

An avid outdoorsman and passionate sports fan, Sean especially loved his Alabama football. Whether enjoying the outdoors, spending time with friends, or supporting his favorite team, he embraced life with enthusiasm and gratitude.

Above all, Sean treasured his role as “Pop Pop” to his two beloved grandsons. His greatest joy was found in his family, and the memories he created with them will be cherished for generations.

Sean was preceded in death by his mother, MaryNeal Walker.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Michelle Walker; his sons, Brody Walker and Blaine (Danielle) Walker; his daughter, Chloe (Brock) Barrontine; his two grandsons, Ben & Boston Walker; his father, Hale Walker; his brother, Chuck (Robin) King; sister, Mary (Terry) Glen, and numerous extended family members and friends whose lives were blessed by knowing him.

While his earthly journey has ended, we take comfort in knowing that Sean’s faith has led him home to the loving embrace of our Lord and Savior. His legacy of love, faith, service, and family will continue to live on in all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to Christ the King Catholic Church.
