Shirley Ann Collier Delchamps

Shirley Ann Collier Delchamps, age 63, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, following a brief but brave battle with ALS.

Born with a joyful spirit and a generous heart, Shirley devoted her life to her son, family, friends, and career. For the past fourteen years, she worked as a Designer and Account Representative for Jubilee Flooring in Daphne, Alabama, where she was beloved by colleagues and the many clients who benefited from her creative talents.

Shirley was preceded in death by her father, James B. Collier, and her brother, Mitchell James Collier.

She is survived by her mother, Jessamine Gertrude Hume of Fairhope; her devoted son, Braeden Collier Delchamps; her stepmother, Tonya Collier; her sisters, Candace Collier and Cara Hutchison; her beloved dog, Coco; and a close circle of loyal and long-standing friends. She is also remembered with affection by countless others who will forever cherish her warmth, laughter, and infectious enthusiasm for life.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Shirley’s memory.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of South Alabama Kelly Butler ALS Center.
