Shirley Mae Nicolaison

Shirley Mae Nicolaison, age 95, a resident of Foley, AL, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022

She fostered children, became a cook, working at a nursing home and volunteered at the Elks Lodge in Foley, frying fish every Friday night for the last 15 years.  She loved spending time at her cabin at Thomas Lake. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 3 siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Rae Ojard (Terry), Brooklyn Park, MN; son, Mark Nicolaison (Brenda), Pensacola, FL; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; many other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
