It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Spencer Nolan Harris, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend. Spencer passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 50. He was the cherished soulmate of his wife, Linda Harris, with whom he shared 30 years of love and partnership.

Spencer's family was his world, and he was the epitome of selflessness. His love for his family, both human and fur babies, was immeasurable. He would do anything for anyone and was always there with a helping hand or kind word. Spencer was a true patriot who loved his country and his heart was at home in Gulf Shores, Alabama, where he had lived for the last 40 years.

Known for his infectious personality and unwavering loyalty, Spencer was the most caring and loving person to his friends, treating them as family. He adored his nieces and nephews loving them fiercely and with pride. Family traditions, particularly his kris gifts and white elephant gifts (which were often hilariously dangerous), brought him joy. Spencer also took great pleasure in his text from Trump, a small yet meaningful source of laughter in his life.

Spencer was a man of many talents. Opening Be-Jeweled with his mother and creating and designing exceptional jewelry was a part of his life he took great pride in. Sharing those years with her at his side was something he truly cherished. He was a gifted Chef and shared that gift with many at Nolan’s. His love for being a gunsmith was no secret and his passion and education in that field was hard to match. Teaching gun knowledge with respect for firearms with nieces and nephews, from youngest to oldest, truly filled his cup.

Spencer is preceded in death by his parents, George and Shirley Harris. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Harris, and his cherished fur babies, Meeka, King Louie, and Phoenix. He is also survived by his four older brothers, who were his best friends: George (Kristi), Philip (Jill), Hudson (Denise) and Emery (Cathy). Spencer’s nieces, who were like daughters to him, include Lindsay McClure (Hunter), Liana Harris, Whitney Harris, Marcy Williford (Brandon), and Reagan Foster (Kade). His nephews who were like sons, include Haikel Harris (Emily), Hunter Harris (Morgan), Emery Jr. Harris, Luke Harris, Tylor Harrika (Claire), and Jakob Harris. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews, who adored him: Rylan, Liberty, Lincoln, Avery Lee, Hayden Grace, Cole, Kinley, Fletcher, Brooks, Ryan Morgan, Harrison, Kathleen and Charlotte. In addition, Spencer is remembered with love by several aunts, uncles and cousins who held him dear: LaVonne Williamson (Tommy d), Janet Stewart (Donald d), Sharon Shaia (JL), Wayne Harris (Susan d), Debbie English (Richard d), Ken Shaia (Fonda), John Shaia (Lori), Alan Milton (Karen), Amanda Coggins (Jonathan), Geoffrey Milton (Susan), Lindsey Sanchez (Juan), Sara English, and Patrick English (Carley).

A celebration of life will be held Monday, July 14th, 2025, with the visitation beginning at 12:30 PM and service at 2:00 PM at the Island Church in Orange Beach, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, Spencer would have appreciated donations to the Baldwin County Animal Shelter- an organization near and dear to his heart.

Spencer's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who are fortunate to know him. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
