Stephen Glenn McLeod

Stephen Glenn McLeod, Ed.D., age 73, a resident of Jackson, Mississippi, died Tuesday, October 18, 2022. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army, a Professor of Literature, Jackson State University, Administrator of Richard Wright Center for the Written Word, JSU, Administrator of the West Florida Cluster for Nova Southeastern University, professor of Language and Literature at Pensacola Junior College (now Pensacola College) Instructor of Language and Literature at St Leo’s College, Instructor of Language and Literature at Marion Military Institute. He was a member in several professional and honorary societies. Stephen loved literature. He also loved his students and enjoyed writing poetry. He was an evaluator and coach for doctoral dissertations and practicums. He is survived by his wife, Anne McLeod; his stepdaughters; cousins; along with many loving relatives and friends.
