Susan Fernandez

Susan Fernandez, 72, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025.

She was married for 54 years to her best friend, whom she had known for 63 years. Family was everything to her. She poured her heart into raising her two daughters and was blessed with 4 grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. She cherished her childhood friends and maintained those special bonds with them throughout her life. She loved traveling with her husband, gathering with friends, and filling her home with love and laughter. Her kind heart and beautiful smile made everyone feel welcome and loved.

Preceding her in death were her parents, William Paschedag and Alma (Parker) Paschedag.

She is survived by her husband, Victor Fernandez of Foley, AL; children, Lisa (William) Daniels of Foley, AL., Lori (Christopher) McClanahan of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Ryan (Brittney) Daniels of Mobile, AL., Victoria Daniels of Mobile, AL., Mazie McClanahan of St. Louis, MO., Maddox McClanahan of St. Louis, MO.; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

To honor Susan’s wishes, the family will hold a private celebration of life to be held at a later date. To honor her memory, the family encourages you to love life, spend time with family and friends, travel and see the world.
