Susannah Boullon, a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on April 28, 1970, in Glenview, Illinois, Susannah lit up every room she entered with her joyous and talkative personality. She was a proud graduate of Glenbrook South High School, where she actively participated in the band that performed at the renowned Fiesta Bowl Parade in 1984.
Susannah started her career at Tetra-Pak for almost a decade then poured her heart and soul into founding X-treme Cleaning and Restoration, serving as president and owner for 21 years.
She was survived by her daughters Meredith Natalie Dinehart, Mackenzie Sophia Boullon, and Allyson Isabel Boullon—taking immense pride in their achievements and happiness. She was a devoted grandmother to Aurora Grace Wells, Griffyn Zane Wells, and Liam James Wells. She is also survived by her sisters, Sarah Simons and Stephanie Boesel. Susannah was preceded in death by her father Forrest Simons, mother Nancie Mitchell, grandmother Natalie Haupt and grandfather Leonard Haupt.
A vibrant soul with a great sense of humor, Susannah created countless cherished memories with those she loved. Family gatherings were filled with laughter as she delighted in singing songs, often getting half of the lyrics wrong, and her ability to light up a room effortlessly. Adventures with her family, including memorable trips to get tattoos, proved her adventurous spirit and commitment to family bonds. Susannah found joy in simplicity, whether it was watching "Family Feud" together, dancing to her favorite tunes, or passionately engaging in fantasy football.
Susannah had a multitude of hobbies that brought her joy—she enjoyed traveling and collecting shot glasses and thimbles from each country and state she visited. Susannah was an avid reader, with a interest for mystery novels, and cherished her time spent on Facebook and playing Candy Crush. Going to church was a staple of her life, where she found community and shared her supportive and encouraging nature in small groups.
The legacy Susannah leaves behind is a testament to a life well-lived, marked by her love for her family, her steadfast determination in business, and her passionate pursuits.
Susannah will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit will live on through the many lives she touched and the memories they will carry with them always.
