Sybil Vicknair

Sybil H. Vicknair, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her Lillian, Alabama home on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Born in New Jersey, she fought a courageous battle against cancer for many years before succumbing at the age of 68, surrounded by her loving family.

A cornerstone of her life was her family, whom she cherished deeply. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Jimmie Vicknair; son, Brandt Vicknair (Alexis) of New Orleans, LA; daughter, Brennan Vicknair Jackson (Daniel) of Terrytown, LA; grandchildren, Eliza Vicknair, Bryson Jackson and Brooklyn Jackson; other relatives and dear friends; all of whom will deeply miss her. 

A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family.
