Terence James Wacks II
March 24, 1982 – February 1, 2026
Terence James Wacks II, known to many as TJ, passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 43. He was born on March 24, 1982, and lived a life marked by creativity, humor, music, and strong family ties.
TJ is survived by his cherished daughter, Emma Rain Wacks, who was the center of his world and with whom he shared many of his greatest joys.
He is also survived by his sisters Tammaney Kaye Willmann (Rob) and Courtney Wacks Marsh (Kevin), and his brothers Randy Edwin Dodson (Lynda) and Branden Neil Dodson (Stacy). TJ was a devoted uncle, affectionately known as “Monkey TJ,” to his nieces and nephews: Cameron Wade Marsh, Lillian Mae Willmann, Braden Matthew Marsh, James Kai Willmann, Jordan Ann Dodson, and Randi Nicole Henning.
He is further survived by his wife of 13 years, Dawn Marie Wacks, and by Madelon May Harrison and Ashton Riley Harrison, whom he helped raise and cared for with love.
TJ was preceded in death by his father, Terence James Wacks; his mother, Margaret Ann Wacks; and his father figure, Billy Eugene Davidson.
He is also remembered fondly by many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends. TJ’s humor, passions, and presence will be deeply missed and long remembered.
An avid comic book collector, TJ loved spending time with his daughter exploring comic book stores, flea markets, and online shops in search of the next great find. Music was deeply personal to him—he felt it within his soul and always seemed to have the perfect song for every moment or situation. He was known for his sharp wit and perfectly timed dark humor, often bringing laughter when it was needed most. TJ also had a thoughtful nature and took great pleasure in finding the perfect gift and watching others receive it.
