Thomas Lawrence (Larry) Trawick III passed away Monday, October 24, 2022. Larry was born in Mobile, Alabama on October 3, 1935. He grew up in Mobile where he attended Murphy High School. He received an undergraduate degree from Auburn University (Class of ’57) in Industrial Engineering. While attending school, he met his wife and best friend, Barbara Sanders Trawick. He moved back to his hometown of Mobile where he began his lifelong career in the industrial field, eventually taking over his family’s business, Victory Electric Company. After retirement, he moved to Point Clear, Alabama, where he and Barbara rooted themselves and their family for the remainder of their lives together. Larry was an avid pianist, captivating his audience wherever he played. He was an active member of his church, Dauphin Way United Methodist, and served the Lord his whole life. He was the President of a mystic society in Mobile and enjoyed his role for many years. He enjoyed traveling all across the world, but he always held a special place in his heart for Italy. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle, cousin, son, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He cherished every moment he spent with his family. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Sanders Trawick; his parents, Thomas Lawrence Trawick, Jr. and Marie Antoinette (Net) Trawick, and sister, Joan Trawick Grant. He is survived by his one son, John Corydon Trawick (Linda) of Peachtree City, GA; one daughter, Cornelia Keith Trawick of Point Clear, AL; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
