Thomas (Tom) Michael Repka

Thomas (Tom) Michael Repka of Fairhope passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 ,after a long hard-fought battle with dementia. He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Repka; his sister, Patricia Repka; and his brother, Paul Ratcliff. He is survived by one son, Bobby Repka (Melissa); and one daughter, Missy Wisely (Tony). He was a loving Papa to three wonderful grandsons, Patrick Wisely, Thomas Repka (Alexis), and Taylor Repka (Jamie), and one special granddaughter, Shelby Wisely. He was blessed to be called Papa by a great-grandson, Hayden, and was fortunate to give kisses to his newest great-grandson, Cameron. He will be missed by Vicki and James, his sister’s children, and by his brother’s daughter, Tamara. He will forever be loved and missed by his many friends, brothers and sisters-in-law, and expanding generations of nieces and nephews; all of whom he would have done anything for. Tom dedicated 20 years to the United States Air Force where he retired in 1986. He worked hard in everything he did from serving in the military to building tables to planting a garden. He was a “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right”, and “always measure twice and cut once” kind of guy. Give him a fishing pole and a cold Miller Lite and he was a happy man. If you knew him, you loved him. If you didn’t you missed out.
