Thomas R. "Tommy" Stuedeman April 17, 1942- June 2, 2026

Thomas "Tommy" Stuedeman, born April 17, 1942, in Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the age of 84.

Tommy graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and began his career with Tractor & Equipment Company in 1964. He dedicated 34 years of service to the company before retiring. He was a member of the International Harvester Master Collection Club.

Tommy had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sharing a good whiskey with family and friends. He was passionate about Labrador retrievers, raising and training them as hunting dogs. An adventurous spirit, whether traveling for business or pursuing hunting opportunities, Tommy enjoyed seeing new places,

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Lynn Stuedeman of Lillian, Alabama; his brothers, Louis (Barbara) Stuedeman of Crawford, Mississippi, and Vincent (Roseanne) Stuedeman of Birmingham, Alabama; his brother-in-law, Wayne Green of Birmingham, Alabama; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Tommy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jody Stuedeman, and his sister, Mary Rae Stuedeman Green.

Tommy will be remembered for his love of family, his adventurous nature, his appreciation for the outdoors, and the many friendships he cultivated throughout his life.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Lillian Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
