Obituary

Tyler Owen  April 15, 1998 – June 25, 2026 

Tyler Owen, 28, of Spanish Fort, Alabama, passed away on June 25, 2026. Tyler was born on April 15, 1998 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Tyler enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his mom. He loved being at the beach, swimming in the Gulf, riding motorcycles, watching racing, and spending time on the water fishing and boating. One of the greatest joys in his life was being an uncle to Preston and Annie. Tyler was known for his sense of humor and was always quick to make others laugh.

Tyler is survived by his mother, Tracy Owen; his sister and brother-in-law, Ashley and Sean Johnson; his nephew, Preston Johnson, and niece, Annie Johnson; his grandparents, Dalton and Patricia Burt; his uncle and aunt, Jimmy and Deanna Burt; his aunt and uncle, Nicole and Gerry Reimer; his aunt and uncle, Kristin and Chuck Rose; and his cousins, Kyle (Ashly), Kelsey (Dillon), Kayla, Ashby, Aubrey, and Danielle (Ben).

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Owen; his grandmother, Jewel Owen; his grandfathers, Hardy “Buford” Owen and Jimmy Gray; Great-Grandfather Sam Tibbs; Great-Grandmother Annie Tibbs and his uncle, Bobby Owen.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Jubilee Memorial Gardens in Daphne.

Tyler will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will always remember his humor, his love for the beach, and the time they shared with him.
