Vera "Peggy" Sims Dannelly

Vera, known to most as Peggy, but to her family she was simply "Moma." Peggy passed away surrounded by love of her family at the age of 91 while at her home after an illness. She was quick to smile, even quicker to laugh, and lived her life with fierce devotion to those around her as well as her Christian faith.

Peggy embodied the values she taught—loving your neighbor, caring for your loved ones, and lifting others up with unwavering enthusiasm. Her generosity knew no bounds. She gave selflessly, offered often, and loved always. To Moma, a stranger was simply a friend she hadn't met yet.

Though her absence leaves a deep ache, her spirit lives on in the lives she touched. Her laughter, warmth, and strength will be remembered by all who knew her.

Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Lee E. Dannelly, her brothers Douglas Sims and Alden Sims, her parents Gertrude and Ben Sims, and daughters Christine Frampton, and Lori Roth. She is survived by her children, Pamela Rich (of Fort Walton Beach, FL), Barbara Aly (of Spanish Fort, AL), and Lee Dannelly Jr (of Macon, GA),  as well as grandchildren Joe Marshall (Baltimore, MD) Brian Frampton (Mobile, AL), Travis Frampton (Dubuque, IA), Alexis Kilma (Warner Robins, GA),  Delores Falony (Orange City, CA), Adam Dannelly (Centerville, GA). She has five surviving great- grandchildren, Cooper and Walker Frampton, Siena Kilma, Billy Faloney,  Veda Dannelly,  Blake, Ben & Brody Frampton. Peggy is also survived by her niece Sandra Allen of Crockett, Texas. 

Services for Peggy will be at May 17th 11:00 AM at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, in Daphne AL. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that you uplift others with the kindness and love.
