Victoria Lea Caudill, age 42, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022. Tory was an amazing mother. She rallied behind her children every step of their lives and was always their biggest cheerleader without crowding them or stifling their growth or individuality. She wanted them to know that they were loved because of, and not in spite of, who they are, and she showed them every day. Her hopes for the future of her kids were that they would be able to experience things in life that she was unable to. Rey and Jude were her sun and her moon and everything in between. Tory was a friend to many. She could light up any room with her smile, but what made her truly one of a kind was the ease with which she could out-sarcasm anyone. She never let pass an opportunity for humor, even in times of pain and sadness. She was thoughtful, supportive, and loyal and her friendship will be missed by so many. She is preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Caudill. She is survived by her children, Rey Caudill, Jude Caudill; parents; Joseph Varela of Florida; mother, Robin Varela of Daphne, AL.; stepfather, James Austin of Daphne, AL.; two brothers, Kyle (Chirsti) Austin of Mobile, AL., Joey (Maria) Varela of Florida; special friends, Nissa Kennedy, Crystal Arten; niece, Elyssa Austin; grandmother, Naomi Wise; stepmother, Laurie Fernandez; many other loving relatives and friends. There will be a Celebration of Life for Tory on November 12, 2022 in Gulf Shores. Please RSVP by text to (334) 559-0901 for location details. A GoFundMe has been set up to assist with the children’s’ current and future needs, both educational and personal and can be found here: https://gofund.me/921f92f2
