Walter Orville Cutsinger, a resident of Elberta, Alabama, passed away peacefully at age 86 on March 30, 2024. Orville was born in Nebraska, he enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1954; upon his discharge in 1958 he married his wife of 65 years, Phyllis Cutsinger. Soon after marriage Orville moved to California where he worked as a car mechanic during his career. After retiring Orville and Phyllis relocated to Elberta, Alabama. Orville was very friendly who never met a stranger, he loved the outdoors and treasured the many fishing trips with family. He also enjoyed working on his property in Elberta.
Orville is survived by his wife and his son Mitchell (Eva) Cutsinger; two grandsons. Marcus (Lindsay) Cutsinger and Thomas (Katie) Cutsinger; four great grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends. Preceding him in death is his sister, Anabelle Bennett.
A private family memorial service to celebrate Orville’s life took place on March 31, 2024.
