Walter William Brown

Walter “Bill” Brown, age 85, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 19, 2022. He served in the US Navy for 20 years as an Aviation Electronics Technician, before retiring honorably from the Armed Forces. He went on to pursue a variety of hobbies, including refinishing furniture, recycling, and computers. Bill moved to Foley, AL with his wife, Josephine, in the late 1970’s. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Brown and his son William Bret Brown. He leaves behind a daughter and son in law, Destarte “Desie” Brown and Warren “Wes” Custer; grandchildren Jessica and Vanessa Sullivan, and a great-grandson, Brayden; sister-in-law, Arlie Thornton, her children Dawn and Drew, and their children. His family in Arkansas and Oklahoma including a niece, Melody Normand, and numerous others.
