William Charles Baker, age 75, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in Spanish Fort, Alabama, on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
Charlie was born on October 22, 1950, in Foley, Alabama, to the late William Charles Baker, Sr. and the late Marie Smith McQueen.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Debra Jones Baker and his son, Yancey F. Baker (Kim); son-in-law, Ronnie Jones (Charebi); grandchildren include Lofton Jones, Olivia Baker, Devin Dunnam and Lexi Argiro (Ryan); two nephews, Richard Birge (Nadine) and Jeffrey Birge; and Charlie’s beloved German Shepherd, Warrior.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Charebi Jones Baker and his sister, Wilma Jean McQueen.
Charlie enjoyed hunting and fishing, all wildlife, gardening and outings spent at the beach.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 11:00am at Bay Minette City Cemetery, with Fr. James Cink officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be may to “In the Seelos Tradition” Building Fund for Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos Catholic Church: 31122 Hwy. 31, Spanish Fort, Alabama.
