William Thomas Freeman

William Thomas Freeman, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, formerly from Springfield, Il, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, at the age of 71.

William was born in Springfield, IL, to the late Robert and Violet Freeman.

After 30 years, Bill retired as a sheet metal worker. Bill was also a Master Gardener and loved working in his yard. Bill was also proficient in wood working, plumbing, renovating properties, and overall handyman. He was always willing to help neighbors or anyone who needed help.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Robert and Bernard.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia (Patty) Freeman of Fairhope, siblings Jim (Dorothy) Freeman, Donna Banfield, Sharon (Kyle) Davis, brothers-in-law Dale (Dorothy), Billy, and Ricky Ciotti, and sister-in-law Sharon (Joe) Sturm, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 12, 2025, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, Al. from 5:00-6:00PM followed by services at 6:00PM.

To honor William’s memory, donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to Baldwin County Animal Shelter or a charity of your choice.
