William "Bo" Joyner , a lifelong resident of Fairhope, Alabama passed away Friday. October 10, 2025, at the age of 72.
He grew on Mobile Bay spending his days from sun up to sun down on the beach with his brother and sister. William graduated from The Marietta Johnson School for Organic Education in 1971. After graduation he began working at Scott Paper Company/ Kimberly Clark where after 41 years of work he retired in 2018. After retirement you could find William watching Alabama football every Saturday with his granddaughter, Raven. William was a proud member of the Elks Lodge Post 1879 as well as The Sons of The American Legion Post 199 in Fairhope. Alabama. His Sundays were spent at Fairhope Elks Lodge and The American Legion Post where he was surrounded by his friends. good music and beautiful sunsets, all the things he loved.
William was preceded in death by his parents Russell Leland Joyner Sr. and Vera Evans Joyner, brother Russell "Rusty" Joyner, sister Linda Marie Joyner.
He is survived by daughter Heather Joyner, son Justin Joyner. granddaughters Raven Riney and Molly Odell. Nephews Colby Joyner. Chris Joyner and Brandon "Jeff" Keener.
A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date.
