William Richard Hall

William Richard Hall, fondly known as Ricky, passed away on January 26, 2026, in Mobile, Alabama, at the age of 64. Born on September 13, 1961, in Louisiana, Ricky lived a life marked by kindness, a jovial sense of humor, and a generous spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ricky's career spanned many years in the construction industry, a field in which he gained respect and camaraderie among his peers. He also found joy in his part-time role as a bartender at Fins, a cherished local establishment on Dauphin Island, where he delighted customers with his friendly demeanor and quick wit. Ricky retired from the Department of Conservation on Dauphin Island, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.

His adventurous spirit was further reflected in his time served in the Navy, during which he enjoyed traveling and experiencing new cultures. This love for exploration extended into his personal life; he had a profound appreciation for music and showcased his talent by playing the guitar. Fishing became a beloved pastime that he often shared with family and friends, creating memories that will forever resonate in their hearts.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Chasity Hall, and their sons, Justin and Tyler Hall. He was the beloved son of Peggy Coleman Hall, his cherished mother. Ricky leaves behind a loving family, including his brother Harley Hall (Alice), his sisters Wendy Butler (Terry) and Ginger Ammons (Don), along with numerous nieces and nephews who will carry forward his memory and the values he embodied.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Bill Hall. As we remember him, let us celebrate the joy, laughter, and generosity he brought into our lives. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will cherish the moments shared and the love he so freely gave.
