William Eugene "Gene" Roberson

William Eugene “Gene” Roberson, age 83, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025.

Gene was an avid Alabama fan, he loved God and his family very much. He was a former minister of music at the Church of Nazarene in Millbrook. Gene was a U.S. Army Veteran, and loved spending time with his family, golfing and woodworking. 

Preceding him in death are his; parents, Herbert Roberson and Adell Lipsey Roberson; daughter, Peppi Roberson; grandson, Tanner Roberson; and two brothers, Donald Roberson and Phillip Roberson.

He is survived by; his sons, Rodney (Kari) Roberson of Foley, Al, Scott (Tina) Roberson of Fairhope, Al, Herbie (Amanda) Roberson of Fairhope, Al; daughter, Buffie (Brian) Belaire of Bay Minette, Al; grandsons, Hunter Roberson, Chaz Gainey, Charlie Mims, Cody Roberson, Chase Roberson, Austin Coffey, and Cooper Roberson; granddaughters, Kimberly Correa, Bailey Belaire, Cicily Roberson and Mia Roberson; three great grandchildren; his partner, Linda Jones of Millbrook, Al; sister, Doris Thrash of Sylacagua, AL; brother, Jerry (Opal) Roberson of Dothan, Al; nieces and nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.

A celebration of Gene’s life will be held at a later date.
